Truth,

      Building high performance teams is a difficult thing for leaders and coaches to accomplish. You can see in this film there were many times the team could have fallen apart . Some of the things that caught my attention , I’m your coach not your friend and  pushing them past their known limits. Coach Herb pushed the team to work hard and to realize it was about the team and not themselves. The teammates started to care more about others on the team and said we are a family. The coach said now we have a team.  A group of young men became a team after experiencing adversity together . Coach helped them to believe in themselves, which is the secret in my opinion to having a high performance team is believing .
   Marc , I have seen high performance teams with the departments Tactical Team which goes with Justin’s thoughts of having a clear goal and working to achieve it while going thru hardships and needed to count on one another where losing isn’t an option.
