I am having a good experience with committed actions.  It is especially helpful as I come into a new role with a unique culture of its own driven by a high energy and creative founder.  Using committees actions is giving me a chance to pause and think about how to ask for things from my team or other in the organization and to do it in a way that gives me time to learn the culture and norms instead of assuming people work the way I am used to in other companies.
