I enjoyed listening to the discussion and I appreciate the insights of the group especially Tom’s insight on idea of playing the rescuer role in the name of kindness. It’s definitely my go to mode because I can do it more efficiently and feel good about getting results. Recognizing that it’s a short play not the long play. I am working on this.
The bracelet is reminding me of the drama triangle especially at times it rolls over and gets twisted in my sleeve. It reminds me the subtle way drama sneaks up on me and entangles my attention. The good news is adjusting the bracelet reminds me to be intentional with the way I address drama that enters my day. The opaqueness of the bracelet also reminds me sometimes it’s difficult to see through the drama that I am caught in.
