I would like to say that I am in the mastery category, and I am in some instances but it is more common for me to be a hacker.  As a CFO and Corporate Development leader I would put myself in the mastery category.  But in many other areas such as hobbies like tennis I am a dabbler.  One think I’d note though is I think it is possible to flip from a cabler to mastery.  Both are very steady approaches and after dabbling for many years I think it can flip or progress.
