I have been writing my core values, vision statement, and mission statement for many years. Unfortunately my top core value of family is one I often put aside and fill that space with work. That what I value the most I do the least. As its said awareness brings change. Focusing on this core value has made me realize how often I’m on the phone, checking email, and texting during “family time”.  I have taken steps to separate business from family time and be in the moment with my children by using time blocks.
