A couple of thoughts from this week. I am seeing a noticeable shift in how I manage and allocate my time utilizing the tools and methods to minimize distractions, schedule work-time, and schedule time-blocks. At home we are working to something very similar to what Amber described in an earlier e-journal message, and that is to look ahead at the year and schedule home-time with the family. Game nights, date nights, weekends away, vacation, etc. I've noticed that especially with our collective busy schedules the family looks forward to our shared "home-time".
Making progress!

Yesterday I demonstrated a Learner Mindset by meeting with my Financial Planner about some topics I’ve been pretty set in my ways on. I decided to put my guard down and question him on some of my practices. This particular topic we were discussing is one that I realized I have always had a Knower stance on. I kept quiet as I let him shed some light on me! It was great to be enlightened with new knowledge to apply to my methods.
Although I have studied finance and I love the topic, there is always more to learn.
Thank you,
Tammy Smith
