Hello team,

I had a very direct conversation about a team member who is not meeting the expectations set in her 2 x 2.  I used SBI and along with her boss spoke to her calmly about her current performance and near future expectations if she is going to stay on the job.  I have had specific SBI meetings with her before but this one was different where we both spoke softly but clearly that if she doesn't improve that she cannot stay on our team.   By Tuesday, she was improving a lot, Wed - Friday she was on it.

The SBI tool helped up to focus on the facts which helped her understand how it was impacting her team, the customer and all that work for Galerie.

I am glad we had a very good discussion, I want to be fair.  I will know how it turns out in the next month.
