My most comfortable leadership style is traditional.  I love the 2x2 for my team to measure our agreements of annual priorities/objectives. Weekly I with my team on priorities and we execute.  I like knowing the decision maker and the process of decisions to be able to set deadlines, measures and so that everyone knows their role.

I would like to work on my strategic leadership style with my team.  I am good about knowing the rules and when to follow them but my team is made up of more heavily traditional mindsets, which for me is easy to manage tasks.  However, since I am the sales team lead I need to work with my team that just because the answer is no doesn't mean it cannot become yes OR just because the rule says we can't do this doesn't mean you can't come up with a compelling argument to show that we should change the rules to win.
