At times (often) my thoughts and behaviors are susceptible to my emotions... this said - My recalibration process often includes closing my door and looking out a window that I have in my office for several minutes quietly (focusing on my core values and professional objectives)... I re-engage into the day calm, focused, and refreshed. The 5 minutes feels like I have pushed a reset button on the entire day. I find my thought and decision making process in the hours following is focused and deliberate. I need to do this more times throughout the week...
