Gap in walk the talk Jim Wilhelm 19 Feb 2019 15:08 UTC
A gap for me in walk the talk at work is making my team and other coworkers feel important consistently. I feel very busy all the time and I know that I do not do a great job of making everyone feel important as I am running through the building saying hi and bye quickly. We are all very busy but just making time to say hi and to listen to someone for a minute or two will not kill me. I am aware of this and am working on slowing down when walking through the office and noticing someone who says hi or has a question, update on something or just needs someone to lift them up.

I feel I am getting better at doing this, but it is so easy to blame being busy over making time for people.
