Hello everyone,

Using committed action over and over has helped me to ask specifics and my coworkers are getting used to the fact that I am asking who owns and by when.  This is allowing me to trust that things are getting done and if not, it is up to that person to communicate to me when a deadline will be missed, why and what is the new date.  My team is seeing me be more productive and everytime they come to me and say something is late I am asking what was the deadline and who owned it, most of the time the response was that it was due now or ASAP so I say so there wasn't a deadline, one of my team members was really getting frustrated until last week when he used committed action for an urgent issue and it worked.

I love the committed action agreement during our 10:00 Monday directors meeting, I get the committed actions, recap them to the team and let everyone know that I will ask for updates that following week and it has been working for the most part.  We're not there yet but I am seeing progress.
