Others in my company that have gone through the ILP have asked me how Stagen is going for me and whether all the reading has gotten to me yet. I told them that the reading is fine, it's the writing that's getting the best of me.
I like the idea of the performance journaling but it just seems like I am filling in the story of something that already happened. At times I almost feel like I am filling out an application for someone to review. Maybe I am not doing it correctly or maybe it's just the writing aspect. I definitely view things differently now with the drama triangle and TED in my mind, and I gamefilm after most conversations to see what I could have done better. It's the writing it down part that I'm not loving.
That being said, there have been one or two times that writing it down forced me to think through it more thoroughly, so I do see value in the tool. Just not an easy exercise for me...
