I have had a rough 10 days.
I was informed that my position was being eliminated and that it was time to begin a job search. I have learned so much from this experience.
First, I did not default into the Victim role. Totally shocked by this. I aligned with the Creator role from the beginning, yes this required energy, and I deliberately maintained a positive attitude.
Second, during a transition meeting yesterday with the university President (a really good guy) said he now wanted to discuss retaining me in the organization. This story is not over, but I could end up in a better position.
Any success that occurs going forward is due entirely to maintaining a Creator attitude and positive mindset. So powerful.
