Thanks for sharing and I’m glad you focused on your family. I find your comment very interesting. I think many people would typically default to work; I probably would have if I was working. Anecdotally, I found people to put work in front of family all the time. When I was exponentially hiring, one of the questions I would as was, “When was the last time you broke a promise or commitment, to whom, and why?” 8.5 out of 10 times it was family... they are the first to go! This makes me wonder if the effect on the trust formula within families.
