The 2x2 matrix has been very interesting for me. Fortunately, I have two business partners who have previously taken Stagen and they introduced this matrix to me and now we use it each quarter in our quarterly business meetings. We use the tool to set priorities for our growing business and it really has blown my mind at just how much belongs in the delay bucket.

Early on in a young business everything seems important - new AR/AP processes, marketing efforts, operational efficiencies, recruiting, etc.. but when we really started using the tool and breaking down each activity we started to figure out what was really important. It helps to use the tool with 2 or 3 other people because I think each will bring their own perspective and drive the conversation in a different way than you will with yourself but I can with 100% certainty say that the 2x2 matrix has helped us shape our company just based on focusing on the priorities that matter WHEN they matter.
