Marla,

I found it very beneficial when I began educating my environment (Setting Boundries)when I was setting time blocks to work on the business as well as when I am working in the business. Once I learned the value of establishing the right environment to accomplish tasks, meet with tribe members or just have a meeting with myself I became more productive. I also found that others appreciated and respected the space I created as they became more aware of what it was I was trying to do. Since you were able to see an immediate gain by doing this on Saturday what do you think you can do to make this a more regular / routine occurrence going forward?

Thanks for sharing,
Ramon

I think I was very concerned with how to set boundaries. I typically try to take on as much as possible. I wasn't quite sure that I could set boundaries in an area that has no physical barriers.

Saturday was extremely frustrating. I had scheduled to deliver to deposit deals and both of them were there at the same time and both of them were not going well. One of my coworkers danced over to my desk, and I mean literally danced. I decided right then and there I had to set a boundary. I told him as kindly as I could that I was in the middle of delivering these two deals and did not have time currently to address whatever it was he wanted me to address. I was very surprised as he took it very well. Later I thanked him for his understanding.
