Dickinson ILPers-
This week’s mindset immersion field trip reports have been inspiring to me on many levels.
Go team!
While the experience is often playful on the surface, several of you (especially Dana) are exploring more deeply into the implications of differences, judgments, and bias.
As you know, the ILP is designed to promote awareness and choice. This particular assignment is also designed to reveal unconscious and/or habitual dimensions of ourselves that might limit our own leadership versatility.
We are not suggesting that you should agree with or endorse every aspect of all world-views. However, we do advocate for the significant benefits of “understanding” so that you can choose to influence others more skillfully.
Eager to see where this journey continues to take us....

The entrance was in an alley and there was a line to get in - I obviously took advantage of this opportunity to speak with a few fellow concert goers knowing it would be hard to have a conversation inside the venue. I spoke with a few boys in their mid-twenties who noticed my friend and I may be a little out of our element. They were super nice! Drove in from Ft. Hood, serve in the military and found death metal because “Christian metal wasn’t hard enough.” Overall, it was a great experience, and while the music was very red, the people were green/blue.
