I really appreciated the opportunity to listen to the playback of the teleclass I couldn’t attend. I relate closely to Kevin’s comments and feelings about saying no. I feel like I need to say yes because I don’t want to disappointment people, I want them to like the way I lead them and, as an owner of the business, I want them to know that I am always there to assist them.
Up until now, I would say that I strive to practice a servant leadership mindset. I look forward to diving into the positive no practice, because my yes - no -yes will still be serving the company’s, and associates, greater good...just not in a instant gratification way.
