Brock’s story on the teleclass call this morning reminded me of a learning I’ve had around Power of TED.

So, I read the book and got enthusiastic about this new way of being and wanted to talk to Christy about us being co-creators and mutual coaches and challengers.  She did not share my enthusiasm.  A lot of questions and some unflattering feedback later, I realize that when I thought I was being a challenger, I was showing up as a persecutor, creating defensiveness.  Coming from a place of power vs equality.  And not just at home.  Embarrassing, but now I know.
