I've completed my TED assignment and it really plays out in every interaction throughout the day.
I've never considered myself a victim from any outside pressures but TED has reminded me that a Persecutor can be self-inflicted.
I've felt frozen for some time now.
I've never failed in business but now I'm a victim of my own making. I see how things can improve all around my companies.
Nothing gets done AS GOOD as I would like to see it done but I've surrendered myself to the "Price of Letting Go" I've always prided myself on creating avenues for personal growth for all my folks.
However, I can't find it in myself to interject myself into a situation without doing it COMPLETELY. I've never been light handed.
This leads me to the FREEZE feeling.
I don’t know where or how to begin.
Gonna spend the weekend identifying my first of many Babysteps.

Subject: Attention management wins and challenges
1. What have I learned about how I manage my attention so far?
I am pretty good about DOING one thing at a time. And not as good at THINKING about one thing at a time.
I am noticing that while actually working on one thing, I am thinking about what else is on my to do list.
I am using technology to help with this:
1. I am using Siri to quickly capture a thought and then bring my attention back fully to the task at hand. (E.g. “Hey Siri, remind me to send an eJournal post regarding ...”) 2. I am keeping my to do list current so that I can tell myself, “that’s in your backlog, you won’t forget about it. Let it go for now”
What do I want to do better or more consistently?
1. Schedule time blocks for email review.
2. Schedule time blocks for email rule fine tuning. This is going to be an ongoing process for a while. And the playback is great.
3. Schedule more relationship time. The values work has helped me realize this is my highest priority. The blocks I have already scheduled are working great. And I want to allocate more time to these primary relationships.
4. Review calendar with Christy. We have started doing this more regularly, and I want to block time for this on a regular basis. One of the benefits is reduced miscommunication about schedules and plans. Another is that we are scheduling our joint priorities.
5. Build some processes around personal admin and tracking investment performance, so that this stays current. Particularly LP interests. Would love to hear how others do this so I don't have to reinvent the wheel or create an inferior one.
