The two of these that I have never thought about nor realized were talents are arranger and individualization.

 

Arranger – “they like to figure out how all the pieces and resources can be arranged for maximum productivity.” When I spent time thinking about it, this has been one thing that I have had to constantly working at the company from the very beginning to where we are now. During the early days this was survival mode for us, we had to get the most out of certain people and resources and decisions that were made while not all were “perfect” I think I got more things right than wrong and that has lead to a lot of the success we see today.

 

Individualization – “They have a gift for figuring out how people who are different can work together productively.” I always preach hiring diversity and hiring people from different industries so that we can have as many different views on our business challenges as possible. Not realizing that this is one of my talents, I am excited to be aware of this and will try to get even better at it as we continue to add more people, we will reach 1000 employees at the end of April. So lots of figuring out how to get all of these people to work together productively ahead!

 

That’s as much self-indulgence as I can handle for one day, now I will return to my normal state of fear and paranoia that we will be crushed by a competitor in the very near future…
