Hello Dickinson,

It’s hard to believe but we are in the last laps of our ILP.

We will spend our time in our final two teleclasses integrating the experiences and practices we’ve encountered this year.  Each of you will have the “mic” for 5 minutes to describe the significant results you’ve experienced from your ILP work.  Please reflect on this past year and all the work you’ve done and then present to us what material, practices or concepts have had a lasting impact on you and how do you know?  And remember, this will be an informal presentation given to a friendly audience.

We recommend you prepare for your five minute presentation vs. speak off the cuff.  To help you compose your five minutes, complete the Integration Self-Assessment in this week’s assignment.  You can open here from the attachment, download it from your assignments, or find the document under Tools - Integration - Integration Self-Assessment, it is also attached to this email.

We have taken the liberty of assigning you to a specific teleclass and in a specific order.  However, please be prepared to deliver your presentation on either day.  Also, these final two teleclasses will be a full hour (10:00-11:00 a.m. Central) to allow all members of our cohort time to share their reflections.  Please adjust your calendars so you can be present for all members of our group.

This final part of the upcoming Quarter 4 work includes an Integration Self-Assessment and a 5 minute presentation. After you complete the Self-Assessment, please send it to your coach.  The 5 minute presentation will be delivered on the teleclass.  Below are some helpful instruction regarding both of these assignments.

INTEGRATION SELF ASSESSMENT

Benefits of the ILP Integration Self-Assessment

  • You will use this assessment to support your “Significant Results” presentation
  • Coaches use the Self-Assessment to explore with you areas of interest and will make suggestions for your on-going leadership development.

Prompting questions for your consideration as you complete the Self Assessment

  • What were the concepts and or practices you resonated with most, and how will you keep these alive post ILP?
  • What were the concepts and practices I resonated with the least, do I have interest in deepening my understanding of them? If so, what are your ideas in pursuing them?
  • What patterns, if any, did you notice?  Were there specific quarters you “got the most out of”-why do you think that was?
  • What do you see as your next step in your Leadership development journey?

  • Score all Concepts, Practices, and Skills with the key:
