What I am taking action on is this....

Often I am asked to give advice to people regarding business or personal issues.  I take my "Advice-Giving-Role" very very seriously, and often ask thoughtful questions to try to give thoughtful advice.

Many times, my advice goes unheeded, although I believe the advice I'm giving is the advice that will get them to where they state they want to go.

A period of time will go by, and this same person will come back to me, with the same issue, although now a much more serious issue; and again I will give advice and it will often go unheeded.

In the past, I would get very angry, and sometimes, I have fired people from my life because of this.

However, I realized the people not taking my advice is MY issue.  I carry a lot of baggage at times because of this issue.

What I am taking action on is this:  I will attempt to be unattached to whether or not anyone takes my advice; and I will attempt to love them for who they are.   Like everyone, I have flaws, and I'd rather not have people be angry with me for not listening to them.

This is a huge awakening for me.
