ILP Combo - Committed Action and Telling Ourselves Stories Tony Lillios 17 Jun 2015 05:22 UTC

Committed Action was something a bit hard for me to embrace. I realized through Nathanael that holding others (and myself) accountable felt very "over bearing", "bean countery", "annoyingly specific", and I go go on and on. I realized I have had elaborate stories I tell myself when simply asking for a committed action from someone. So now when I find myself hesitant to ask for an appropriate committed action, I use it as an opportunity to investigate what story I might be telling myself.

The best result in this is that I am much more free about asking for committed actions from people and dealing with breakdowns. Just like my post from yesterday, it is yet another aspect of Stagen that makes me feel like I have my hands on the steering wheel and much less a victim/persecutor.
