Just sharing a quick insight.

The practice of game-filming or simply stopping to take the time to reflect and writing down the thoughts (going through the 3 steps of Review/Reflect/Recommit) is powerful. It’s the same as the feedback loop or the learning loop as described in our Learning & Practice module.

I can recall having “experience” thoughts many times in the past, many of which were repeats of the same issues -- but only rarely did I stop, and take the time to reflect and recommit to close the loop. When I did stop it was usually only when it was a very big issue, but I can see tremendous value of doing the same close the loop process for medium sized issues. It's all about optimization, right? I imagine I’ve been reliving and recreating the same experiences, because I never closed the loop on so many of the medium sized issues. That’s my aha.

I wonder how different my life would be and how much I would have grown, if I had done this close the loop process in the past?
I wonder how different my life will be, and how much I will grow, when I continue to do this exercise after ILP no longer requires it?

...

I wish each of you a joyful, abundant 2015!
