Being presence. Thank you Brian for writing this. It has helped me reflect / remind me with my daily practice.
I appreciate the heart re - engagement Focus->Inner State->Behavior.
I engage practice on being present in the presence Daily
it's a challenge I think about it often stop my self
Reflect back game filming my own actions
I use techniques by putting my finger tip /hands together and focusing on my breath ( big breathe ) trying to reflect very quickly before I respond and not multitasking .
It is challenging and continues to be a focus daily.
I often write in my personal journal these reflections
I have to continue to do this practice often to maintain clear thinking and not fall into frustration or go into other reactive state.
Thank you Rebecca

With FISBE (Focus->Inner State->Behavior), you can focus on thinking with your head (sometimes aspirational, avoiding the bad stuff) or you can think with your heart (what feels in flow and makes sense organically). The latter is quite powerful when combining with attention. Can you "pocket" comments/responses until later to hear more? There is value in attention to flow. That includes attention to your needs in the moment (are you hungry, tired/groggy, unsettled, racing thoughts/mental chatter, etc). Serving those needs is a "hack" for flow tapping. Then comes the practice of one thing at a time. How many raisin details can I pick up on (taste, smell, feel, see, hear) if I dig deeper into the moment with my full attention? As a learner, I know that I am likely missing so much already in front of me in each moment; based on the light, time, and my own subjective perspective. Food has never tasted so good.
