I love that idea, I think I’ll just give everyone on my team the option. I used to be exclusive digital (via kindle) but had recently had trouble with the highlighting dilemma. Thanks for the tip Thea- downloading the tool now. Sent from my iPhone On Jun 18, 2020, at 3:52 PM, Bob Murphy <bjmurphy@murcal.com> wrote: Thea, Awesome tips. I do find that I'd like to have some books in all the formats! There are positives and negatives to each. I like that idea of highlighting in the kindle app and then capturing them with clippings.io<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__clippings.io&d=DwMFaQ&c=l6wIEjFZ2r6NRbgTeJOW4HMPY8FVASe8l9IlzHzRYYs&r=MsWaXmuHmOqn2U9gcS6eKTv5EqpnVPMWuHjpYplo_c4&m=9ks6mEQj6ZWtMswQDh3jm2HITMwit_N_dy2l91kYTS0&s=SQPXqW20nXWigqBjXOW49wClHxHqBGFDxg6TpEVw_0o&e=>. I often get the audible and the kindle, so I can listen and make my way through books in the car or running, but it syncs with the kindle, so I can pick up and read too - and do the highlighting I like. For some books, I really want the physical book. I want to sit with it without technology in the way. Pema Chodron's When Things Fall Apart is one I bought in hard copy recently. I have White Fragility on order as well, even though I'm halfway through the audible. Barton, When you receive a book from your company, do you always get an actual book? Would you prefer to be given the option for what format you get the book? I find that on my long drives I can listen to an audible book and if I'm reading before bed, the kindle version is way better. If someone gives me a book I find that I end up buying it as a kindle or audible version. I'm wondering if I'm unique in this? I'd like my team to read/listen to some books but I don't want them to have to buy it in their preferred format. Thanks all! Bob The information in this email may be confidential and/or privileged.
