Realization + Vision Jake Schostak 22 Jul 2019 00:14 UTC

When beginning to craft out my one-year vision it quickly turned into a lifetime vision. This was not a surprise to me since it is natural for me to begin with the end in mind. I can often come up with big ideas or an inspiring vision but do not have the natural ability to connect the dots to get me there.

My lifetime vision inspires me but it involves a lot more people than myself and it is not fair to expect me to get there without the collaboration and buy in from many critical people in my life.

It was through this process that I really had my “ah-ha” moment on what my personal core values are established for. As I was writing out this inspiring lifetime vision that got me revved up I realized that I was not willing to do whatever it took to get there. I’ve already found burnt out or unhappiness too many times when breaching those values that I am not willing to go through that pain to get to my vision. I know I can achieve my vision but its going to be by staying what’s true to me.

Now I need to work on my one year vision, or my first step to get me to achieve my bigger vision and purpose.

Thanks,

Jake Schostak
